Thank you for introducing this poet and this poem. Like others you've shared, this poem suggests the limits in style and attitude of our current aesthetic. Mary Kinzie, in "A Poet's Guide to Poetry," first made me think about the invisible fence enforced by publications, critique groups, academic approaches to poetry, etc.
